According to Winston Churchill, “Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.” For me, success is a simple equation: Happiness + Constant Improvement +

Contribution = Success. Thus, “success is comprised of three things: being happy with what you are doing, constantly growing as an individual, and contributing to other people in meaningful ways. If these three things are present, then you are successful.” Anthony Robbins.

Other notable Success Quotes are as follows:
“Identify your problems but give your power and energy to solutions.” Tony Robbins
” If you are not willing to risk the usual you will have to settle for the ordinary.” Jim Rohn
“The only true wisdom knows that you know nothing.” Socrates
“Things work out best for those who make the best of how things work out.” John Wooden
“Let no feeling of discouragement prey upon you, and in the end you are sure to succeed.” Abraham Lincoln
“Poor people have big TV. Rich people have big library.” Jim Rohn
"A goal is a dream with a deadline.” Napoleon Hill
“When you value what you have, you make what you have more valuable; when you care about what you are doing, you make what you are doing more effective and interesting.” Richard Templar

1) Add Value
In your professional life, the more value you can offer the more money you can make. In your personal life, more value translates to closer relationships and strong personal growth.

2) Follow your Passion
The reason why great people are few and far in-between is because most people don’t even know what their passion is. For those that do figure out their passion, most of them don’t follow their passion consistently. This is one of the main reasons why people do not reach their goals.

3) Be Extraordinary
If you do the same thing as everyone else, it’s hard to be successful. It is important to find the edge and then push past it. That is how you become noticed and get rewarded. Using ordinary resource to achieve the extra- ordinary.

4) Start & Get Emotionally involved
There are many factors that go into becoming a successful person in both your professional and personal life, but the one factor that is required is taking action. Most people miss out on reaching their full potential because they never start. Work for something because it is good and for the passion you have for it, not just because you stand a chance to succeed.

5) Hunt for Good Mentors
People who “make it” usually credit their success to a mentor or a group of mentors who really helped guide them to get to where they are. Mentors have gone down the road that you want to travel and can guide you to get to your destination faster than if you went at it alone.

6) Build a Support Group
While mentors serve as a guide with whom you review your past actions and plan your next steps, a support group is your companions that help you with the actual execution of your plan.

7) Personally know your Finances
Numbers scare a lot of people. Start talking about assets, liabilities and net worth and people’s eyes just glaze over. If you are one of these people who run away from numbers, please stop running because you are hurting yourself. If you want to be financially independent, you need to know how to keep score.

8) Be Diplomatic
Speak highly about your company wherever you go and in whatever you do. This will get back to head office and make you even more proud, because nothing generates pride better than being proud. Once your organization is successful you are equally successful and vice versa. If you want to manage somebody, manage yourself. Do those well and you will be ready to stop managing and start leading. Be ready to unlearn what works, changes. I simply wish to encourage you that, irrespective of what you have learnt in school, always are ready to unlearn and relearn. Do not give up dreaming. If we dream about a better world, I can guarantee you we will be there and you have to stay abreast and quickly adapt to :
a) Latest innovations in your industry
b) New technology
c) New terminology
d) New methodology, changes in market trend, staff turnover figures, targets, budget and other relevant standards that can make you stand out.

9) Be Resilient
Things rarely work out the way you planned and there will always be distractions and stumbling blocks that you have to deal with when you are on your road to success. The key point to remember is to persist and to develop the courage to move on even when everyone around you is telling you it is ok to give up. This does not mean stubbornly holding on to your original plan but rather continuing to pursue your goal as long as the reasons for doing so is still valid (Make sure you know the “Why” of what you want).

Life is largely what you give it. Offer yourself sincerely and abundantly, and that true abundance will be reflected in the world you experience. Fill your time productively and profitably; dance like there is no one watching; sing like there’s no one listening; love like you have never been hurt and do your work like you are not going to be appraised, I bet you your successes will be greater. And when you are headhunted or promoted (again) nobody will be surprised.

“Whether you think you can or you can’t, you are right.” – Henry Ford
